Wilmington Trust Corporation (NYSE: WL) acquires AST Capital Trust Company of Delaware. The personal trust group of AST Capital Trust Company assumes the name The Advisory Trust Company of Delaware. The retirement services group of AST Capital Trust Company assumes the name Wilmington Trust Corporate Retirement and Institutional Services Company. Advisory Trust staff members supporting the personal trust business report to the Wealth Advisory Services (WAS) business, which is headed by Mark A. Graham, executive vice president of Wilmington Trust. |

The operations of AST Trust Company and The Capital Trust Company of Delaware are consolidated, resulting in "AST Capital Trust Company of Delaware", a Delaware State chartered trust company. AST Capital Trust Company maintains offices in Phoenix, Arizona, and Wilmington, Delaware. |
